Finally we show you Amanda and João’s wedding.
We call it Celestial Wedding and the amazing Blog Bridal Musings shared it!!

Amanda and João are completely amazed by astronomy.
They started the wedding concept with a “space” theme and as the search became more accurate, they got so specific that they found the most beautiful images and textures of celestial bodies.

Their stationary is literally an invitation into their galaxy.
Amanda is Jupiter, represented by the surface of Europa, one of its natural satellites. And our Moon symbolizes João.

The work of Franz Kafka is also very personal for this couple. So they decided to include one of their favorite quotes, one they feel expresses the love they have for each other.
“Last night I dreamed about you. What happened in detail I can hardly remember, all I know is that we kept merging into one another. I was you, you were me. Finally you somehow caught fire.” – Franz Kafka

Wonderful colors and textures define all the decor and mood of the day. Pastel blues and golden browns blend with Earth tones on that amazing venue in the middle of the woods.
The day was a reflection of their galactic love, infinite as space can be and endless as companionship should.

One of Amanda’s passion in life is fashion and textile design, so she meticulously combined every decor element for the wedding. As a buyer for the company they own in Lisbon called NOMALISM, she daily sees and touches the best fabrics in the world.
Amanda found the best vendors around her, assembled the coolest ideas and built an unique style for ceremony, dinner and lounge settings.

The venue is a private family house from the XVI Century which monks used to live in the middle of Sintra’s Mountains.

For us, as videographers, our work turned out so easy, because every set was so cinematic and clean!!
The soundtrack we’ve chosen for this wedding film is inspired by Amanda and João’s own choices for the ceremony and party, indie pop rock songs (which goes with our personal style so well!)
We work really hard to show a unique and elegant style of videography storytelling to the world.
We really hope you fall in love with this wedding as much as we do.

Finalmente podemos partilhar o casamento da Amanda e do João!
Nós chamámos-lhe Casamento Celeste.

A Amanda e o João são fascinados por Astronomia.
Quando desenvolveram o conceito visual para o seu casamento, o tema “Espaço” surgiu por base e após muita pesquisa, foram encontrando imagens e texturas de corpos celestes absolutamente formidáveis.

O Estacionário do casamento é literalmente um convite para conhecerem a sua própria galáxia.
A Amanda é Júpiter, representada pela superfície do satélite natural Europa. A nossa lua representa o João.

A obra de Franz Kafka é-lhes muito próxima, por isso decidiram inserir algumas palavras do autor que refletem o amor que sentem um pelo outro.

Cores e texturas definiram toda a decoração e ambiente do dia.
Azuis pastel e castanhos dourados combinaram com os tons terra daquele espaço maravilhoso na Serra de Sintra.
O dia foi um reflexo do amor galáctico da Amanda e do João.

A Amanda é apaixonada por moda e design têxtil. Esse conhecimento fez com que combinasse como ninguém todos os elementos decorativos do seu casamento. É através da sua loja em Lisboa chamada NOMALISM, que ela vê e toca diariamente nos melhores tecidos do mundo.
A Amanda soube seleccionar ainda os melhores fornecedores, as melhores ideias e construiu um estilo próprio para a cerimónia, jantar e lounge.

A propriedade onde decorreu o casamento é uma casa do século XVI onde monges viviam, no centro da serra de Sintra.

Para nós, o dia desenrolou-se de forma muito fácil porque o cenário era sem dúvida muito cinematográfico e atrativo.
A banda sonora que seleccionámos foi inspiradas nas escolhas do próprio casal para a cerimónia e festa, músicas indie pop rock (que vão de encontro com o nosso gosto pessoal tão bem!!).
Nós trabalhamos arduamente para mostrar um estilo único e elegante nos nossos filmes.
Esperamos que gostem tanto deste filme quanto nós.
