Intimate Florence wedding

That day Chelsea went to work. Just like every other day, she sat on her desk.
Suddenly she realized she had an email about a few new hires. Looking at pictures and short bios, Chelsea’s eyes caught on this handsome guy photo. She really thought this man was very attractive. Originally from Cincinnati, just like her! What a coincidence, she thought! Unfortunately he was working out of her company’s Colorado office. She was in California. What a drag, she whispered… She couldn’t keep him out of her head, so she decided to send a message welcoming him to the company, mentioning how she too was from Cincinnati.

You can see where this is going, right?
This was how Chelsea and Justin’s story started. After a few work related meetings in Colorado, came the annual company meeting in Mexico. When in Mexico, they were always finding ways to be together! Work took second place to this amazing love story! On their second night in Mexico Justin boldly proclaimed, “Chels, you don’t know it yet, but I’m going to date you!” And, go figure, he was right! If he wasn’t, we wouldn’t be here sharing this intimate wedding in Florence with you!

Chelsea and Justin fell in love! In Chelsea’s words, “Everything just felt so easy and natural together.” Justin proposed on a beach in the south of France. That evening they celebrated with pizza and wine! This shows how easy going and relaxed this couple is. Two friends and lovers celebrating life, together!

When the time came to start planning the wedding, Chelsea and Justin knew they weren’t taking the typical route. They wanted to keep it simple and most of all intimate, just them and immediate family. Their love of travel, food and wine was the starting point. The south of Europe seems logical, France, Portugal, Italy and so on. The search was on!

Their intimate wedding started to take shape when they came across a beautiful Airbnb in Florence, Italy.
For Chelsea and Justin, an intimate wedding in Florence seems to be a perfect match. An ancient artistic city where they could have a simple wedding. Their wedding day was to be about themselves, a Chelsea and Justin day!
Florence is, without a doubt, one of the most amazing cities in Italy. Art is all around! It’s absolutely mind-boggling! For some reason it was considered the birthplace of the renaissance! Once there, you are reminded of that everywhere you look!

Florence is the keeper of works of art of Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Sandro Botticelli, Rafael and Donatello, just to name a few!
When in Florence you will want to feast your eyes with these stunning art pieces. For that, a stop at the Galleria degli Uffizi is mandatory. It is one of the oldest and most famous art museums in Italy, there you can see paintings by the masters.

One of the cities Landmarks is the Duomo, or should I say the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. If you think about Florence, that Cathedral surely will pop up in your mind. It is one of the most visited sites in Tuscany. The one place that probably competes with the Duomo, has to be Ponte Vecchio. People photograph it like crazy! No wonder! It is not everyday that you can see a bridge like that! It has the unique characteristic of being full of tiny narrow houses on the top of it! It truly creates an amazing “postcard”!

Like every city in Italy, you will want to be out in the streets, enjoying the sun, in one of the many Piazzas! These were some of the reasons that led Chelsea and Justin to choose Florence for their intimate wedding! They surely made the best of it!
When the day for their intimate wedding in Florence came, they had their ceremony, with just their immediate family in that place they fell in love with months before, Casa Barthel.

It was everything they wished for and more! Simple, no fuss, just love, under the Florence sun.
For us it was a pleasure to be witnesses to their intimate wedding in Florence!
For Chelsea and Justin, that morning in the office turned out to be the first day of the rest of their lives!

Relaxed Destination Wedding | Intimate Wedding in Florence, Italy

Naquele dia, a Chelsea foi trabalhar. Como todos os dias, sentou-se à secretária. De repente, percebeu que tinha um e-mail por ler sobre novas contratações. Ao olhar para as fotografias e resumos, os olhos fixaram num rapaz que ela achou bastante atraente.
Natural de Cincinnati, tal como ela! Que coincidência, pensou! Infelizmente ele estava a trabalhar no escritório da empresa no Colorado. Ela estava na Califórnia. Que pena, sussurrou…Como não conseguia tirá-lo da cabeça, resolveu enviar uma mensagem de boas-vindas à empresa, não esquecendo de mencionar que também ela, era uma nativa de Cincinnati!

Podem ver onde isto vai parar certo?
Foi assim que começou a história da Chelsea e do Justin. Após algumas reuniões relacionadas com trabalho no Colorado, chegou a altura da reunião anual da empresa no México. Uma vez no México, arranjavam sempre maneira de estar na companhia um do outro! O trabalho passou para segundo plano nesta incrível história de amor! Na segunda noite no México, o Justin proclamou com ousadia: “Chels, tu ainda não sabes, mas vamos ser namorados! E, imaginem só, ele estava certo! Se não estivesse, não estaríamos aqui a partilhar este casamento íntimo em Florença com vocês!

Obviamente a Chelsea e o Justin apaixonaram-se! Nas palavras da Chelsea: “Quando estamos juntos tudo parece fácil e natural!”. O pedido de casamento deu-se numa praia do sul de França. Naquela noite, comemoraram com pizza e vinho! Claramente pessoas simples e descontraídas! Dois amigos e amantes a comemorar a vida!

Chegada a hora de começar a planear o casamento, a Chelsea e o Justin sabiam que não iriam seguir as típicas tradições. Queriam uma celebração simples e, acima de tudo, íntima, os dois e a família imediata. O amor que nutrem por viagens, comida e vinho foi o ponto de partida. O sul da Europa pareceu lógico, França, Portugal, Itália e assim por diante. A pesquisa foi iniciada!

O seu casamento íntimo começou a tomar forma quando se depararam com um amoroso Airbnb em Florença, Itália.
Para a Chelsea e o Justin, um casamento íntimo em Florença parecia uma combinação perfeita. Uma antiga cidade artística, onde poderiam desfrutar de um casamento descomplicado. O dia do casamento seria para eles os dois, um dia da Chelsea e do Justin!
Florença é, sem dúvida, uma das cidades mais incríveis de Itália. Arte está por todo o lado! É absolutamente alucinante! Por algum motivo, é considerada o berço do renascimento! Uma vez lá, és lembrado disso constantemente, olhes para onde olhares!

Quando em Florença, vais querer deliciar os olhos com essas impressionantes obras de arte. Para isso, é obrigatória uma paragem na Galleria degli Uffizi. É um dos museus de arte mais antigos e famosos de Itália, onde podes apreciar pinturas dos mestres.
Uma das atracções mais famosas da cidade é o Duomo, ou melhor, a Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. Se pensares em Florença, essa catedral certamente aparecerá na tua mente. Não é todos os dias que se vê uma ponte assim! Tem a característica única de estar “carregada” de pequenas casas estreitas no topo! É realmente digna de um postal!

Tal como em todas as cidades de Itália, vais querer estar nas ruas, a curtir o sol, numa das muitas praças que aqui e ali aparecem! Estas foram algumas das razões que levaram a Chelsea e o Justin a escolher Florença para o seu casamento íntimo! Com certeza que aproveitaram e desfrutaram de tudo a que tinham direito!
No dia do seu casamento íntimo em Florença, a cerimónia foi celebrada, apenas com a família imediata, naquele local especial, pelo qual se tinham apaixonado meses antes, a Casa Barthel.

Foi tudo o que eles desejaram e mais! Simples, sem complicações, apenas amor, sob o sol de Florença.
Para nós, foi um prazer testemunhar o casamento íntimo em Florença estes dois seres maravilhosos!
Para a Chelsea e o Justin, aquela manhã no escritório acabou por ser o primeiro dia do resto das suas vidas!
